Brent Holloway, commanding officer of the mine countermeasure ship USS Devastator (MCM 6), speaks with Secretary of the Navy Kenneth J. Braithwaite about the capabilities of the ship during his visit with personnel on board U.S. Naval Support Activity Bahrain, Dec. 15. Devastator is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three critical chokepoints to the free flow of global commerce.
