Frederick Mercier, left, and Matt McCann demonstrate the procedure used to verify asset documentation during the Navy Working Capital Fund Supply Management audit conducted in September. Fleet Readiness Center East completed the audit with 100 percent accountability, thanks in part to a new inventory tracking system developed by a team of FRCE logisticians. Mercier, component business manager for the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Logistics Business Office, and McCann, the Business Office’s workload acceptance (non-aircraft) business manager, worked with the system throughout the development cycle.
