201218-A-RX661-1316 ARABIAN GULF (Dec. 18, 2020) – Royal Saudi Naval Force corvette HMS Badr (612), left, and the guided-missile destroyer USS Winston S. Churchill (DDG 81) transit the Arabian Gulf with a U.S. Navy MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter during a joint and combined air operations in support of maritime surface warfare (AOMSW) exercise in the Arabian Gulf, Dec. 18. Combined integration operations between joint U.S. forces are regularly held to maintain interoperability and the capability to counter threats posed in the maritime domain, ensuring freedom of navigation and free flow of commerce throughout the region's heavily trafficked waterways.
