Matthew Johnson, program manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Alaska District, leads a meeting with officials before the final inspection of the newly constructed alternative care facility at the Alaska Airlines Center on April 17 in Anchorage. The Corps' project delivery team provided critical response capabilities to assist the state in keeping Alaskans safe during the COVID-19 health crisis. It completed the temporary hospital eight days after awarding the contract and less than 10 days after receiving the mission assignment.
