210122-N-PA517-0045 MERIDIAN, Miss. (Jan. 22, 2021) Chief Retail Services Specialist (RS) Rory Godfrey, an RS "A" School instructor from Kaplan, Louisiana, right, demonstrates how students are taught to safely operate a shipboard press to Rear Adm. Pete Garvin, commander, Naval Education and Training Command, during a visit to Naval Technical Training Center Meridian. The RS “A” School is a modernized course through Ready, Relevant Learning (RRL), a MyNavy HR Sailor 2025 initiative that fundamentally changes the way the Navy trains Sailors. The course uses interactive courseware, added more information, and enables more “reps and sets” with hands-on training in labs. RS is the first administrative rating to be modernized under RRL.
