210122-N-PA517-0063 MERIDIAN, Miss. (Jan. 22, 2021) Rear Adm. Peter Garvin, commander, Naval Education and Training Command, right, and Force Master Chief Matthew Harris discuss Ready, Relevant Learning (RRL) in the ship’s laundry lab with Retail Services Specialist (RS) “A” School staff at Naval Technical Training Center Meridian. The RS “A” School is a modernized course through RRL, a MyNavy HR Sailor 2025 initiative that fundamentally changes the way the Navy trains Sailors. The course uses interactive courseware, added more information, and enables more “reps and sets” with hands-on training in labs. RS is the first administrative rating to be modernized under RRL.
