Spc. Brian Kruckenberg of Puyallup, Wash., a combat engineer with the 204th Engineer Company, and Canadian army Pvt. Kyle Hudak, a combat engineer with the 38th Combat Engineer Regiment, prepare blocks of C-4 explosives for use during a training exercise on a demolition range outside of town. The demolition training was one of the exercises held as part of Kootenay Castor 2012, a two week combined training between U.S. and Canadian army combat engineers.
