Peter Hill, a military police officer with the 1st Military Police Regiment, blocks traffic for a military vehicle convoy transporting U.S. and Canadian soldiers participating in Kootenay Castor 2012 here Aug. 16. Kootenay Castor is a two weeklong combined training exercise between Washington Army National Guard and Canadian army combat engineers to enhance the soldier's skills and tactics.
