A customer at NEX Bethesda, Maryland, shops for essentials. The Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) recently completed its annual market study to determine how much customers save when shopping at the NEX on specific “basket” items. Based on the recent survey, NEX customers can expect to save an average of 22.49% on their purchases, not including sales tax. The savings amount increased from 20.5% in 2019. NEXCOM is comprised of 14,000 personnel worldwide facilitating six business lines, NEX retail stores, the Navy Lodge Program, Telecommunications Program, Navy Clothing and Textile Research Facility, Ships Store Program and the Uniform Program Management Office.
