U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Noah Marquezburke, a squad leader with India Company, 3d Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, establishes communications during a live-fire range on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 9, 2021. “We do a lot of gun drills and classes so the Marines know their job and how to work with each other as if it was natural,” said Marquezburke, a native of Worcester, Massachusetts. Marines provided support by fire for an assault element, demonstrating their proficiency in infantry and combined arms tactics. 3/8 is currently attached to 3d Marine Division as part of the Unit Deployment Program.
