210226-N-OW019-0003 NAVAL BASE SAN DIEGO (Feb. 26, 2020) Quartermaster 2nd Class Benjamin Knox, from Strasburg, Colo., takes a bearing while standing watch on the starboard bridge wing of the guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton (CG 59) as the ship returns to its homeport San Diego. Princeton, part of Nimitz Carrier Strike Group, returned to Naval Base San Diego after a more than 10-month deployment to U.S. 5th Fleet and U.S. 7th Fleet, which included freedom of navigation operations and participation in Operations Freedom's Sentinel, Inherent Resolve and Octave Quartz.
