Lt. Col. Keith Gogas and Command Sgt. Maj. Paul Thompson, leaders of 6-9 Armored Reconnaissance Squadron, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, case the 'Saber' Squadron's colors, Nov. 18, as their deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom 06-08 comes to an end and they prepare to redeploy. The squadron deployed to Diyala province in October 2006 and will redeploy to Fort Hood, Texas, before the holiday season.
