Alabama National Guard's Adjutant General, Maj. Gen. Perry Smith was interviewed on his observations of Vigilant Guard by Sgt. Kelsey Blankenship and Corporal Adrian Brooks from the 382nd Public Affairs Detchment with Spc. Brenda Thomas, Alabama National Guard public affairs. "This is a very important exercise to train the National Guard in response to a large disaster," said Maj. Gen. Smith. "We take every opportunity we can to come to exercises like this."
