Maj. Gen. John R. O’Connor, Deputy Chief of Staff, G-4, U.S Army Forces Command and Brig. Gen. Gwen Bingham, Quartermaster general, pay tribute to retired Sgt. Maj. John C. Marigliano during the 2012 Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Unit Rodeo award ceremony at Fort Lee, Va., Aug 24. The ROWPU RODEO competition was conceived by retired Sgt. Maj. Marigliano while conducting a unit level competition in 1997, the first ROWPU Rodeo competition was held in 1998 with the objective of training and educating water production teams, and fostering confidence and esprit de corps within liquid logistician units.
