YOKOSUKA, Japan (Mar. 18, 2021) – Electronics Technician Third Class Alexander James mans a .50-caliber machine gun as part of the Small Craft Action Team (SCAT) aboard Arleigh-Burke class guided missile destroyer USS Barry (DDG 52) during sea and anchor detail. Barry is assigned to Task Force 71/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON 15), the Navy's largest forward deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet's principal surface force.
