Tech Sgt. Jarred Nealy of the 690th Cyber Operations Squadron stationed at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, received a Letter of Appreciation from the Air Force Chief Information Security Officer, Wanda Jones-Heath. He was also coined for his achievement by Col. Steven Anderson, 688th Cyberspace Wing commander.
Last October, Nealy developed a briefing that provided a new and unique view of Inside Threats and how they relate to cybersecurity for National Cybersecurity Awareness Month.
The presentation that he delivered was vital to meeting the NCSAM objectives of providing extra training, cybersecurity opportunities and supplying essential cybersecurity information to over 670,000 Airmen and civilian personnel, said Jones-Heath.
"Tech Sgt. Nealy was one of only a few volunteers who went above and beyond their normal duties to provide a presentation."
