Maria Macam, recent NAVFAC Far East recipient of the annual Peggy B. Craig Lifetime Service Award, is pictured with her parents Ferdinand and Aurora Macam in Singapore where she is stationed. As a child, she was stationed overseas as a military child when her father was an electrician's mate in the U.S. Navy. Macam stated one of the reasons she's devoted her 30-year federal service career to serving and supporting Navy families is due to the support and service she received by others who came before her while she was stationed overseas.
