Soldiers from America’s I Corps set up tables and chairs in the operation cell of the Early Entry Command Post during an exercise at Yakima Training Center, Wash., April 12. The exercise proved the deployment readiness of the EECP Soldiers and stressed communication systems in order to discover what improvements could still be made. Deployment Readiness Exercises allow commanders from company to corps levels to train their staff on the detailed planning and coordination required to move units overseas on a condensed timeline.
