210420-N-UM741-1231 SAN DIEGO (Apr. 20, 2021) Two MH-60R Seahawk helicopters from Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 49 take flight marking the first all-female crew MH-60R training flight. HSM-49 and HSM-41 are located at Naval Air Station North Island and provide vertical-launched anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare capabilities to carrier strike groups, amphibious ready groups and independently deployed naval vessels.
