Task Force Spartan Division Tactical- Jordan Soldiers, U.S. Army Sgt. Krista Perez, from Spring, Texas, and Spc. Karla Saldana-Torres, from El Paso, Texas, assemble a satellite dish for a validation exercise relocating a tactical operations center, April 14, 2021. Soldiers worked together to secure the area and placed more than a mile of concertina wire. Perez and Saldana-Torres are part of the Signal group that enabled communications and connectivity to be immediately operational and able to provide command the same critical level of situational awareness division’s main provides. This validation exercise provided hands-on training in real time and proved Task Force Spartan can be ready to move at a moment’s notice.
