Soldiers competing for the German Armed Forces Military Proficiency Badge run the three-kilometer run event as part of the Olympic style competition held here Sept. 4 - 7. German Armed Forces stationed here, held the competition at Fort Bliss for the eighth time in three years. Sixty-three of the 75 warriors that began the competition completed it, and were awarded the gold, silver or bronze badge. The prestigious badge can be worn on the U.S. Army service uniform.
