U.S. Marine Corps Pvt. Yasmine Delarosa, a Marine with Lima Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, explained that she is a little shaky and still blown away that she’s completed recruit training. “It feels like yesterday I was stepping on the yellow footprints, and now I’m here being able to say I’m a United States Marine. I’m so proud of myself it’s unreal,” says Delarosa at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego on May 6, 2021. Delarosa was one of the fifty-three females to graduate with the first female integrated company at MCRD San Diego.
