Todd Schuff, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic's Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) director within the CSSP team (IPT), center right, accepts a 2021 Department of the Navy (DON) Information Technology (IT) Excellence Award on behalf of the team May 24 during the DON IT Conference, East Coast, at the Hilton Norfolk The Main, in Norfolk, VA. The CSSP team won in the “Defend” category, which recognizes teams for defending government or military information from cyber threats. The CSSP team successfully thwarted malicious cyberattacks, preventing catastrophic impact to the Defense Health Agency, Navy and Department of Defense force medical readiness.
