This infographic was created by the U.S. Air Force, 129th Public Affairs Office, Moffett Air National Guard Base, Calif., June. 11, 2021, in support of LGBT+ Pride Month. Pride Month honors lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and related communities, and is celebrated each year in the month of June to honor the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan. The Stonewall Uprising was a tipping point for the Gay Liberation Movement in the United States, which also helped pave the way toward equality in the military.
