210611-N-JW440-1017 PHILIPPINE SEA (June 11, 2021) Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technicians assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 5 and visit board search and seizure team (VBSS) members from the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Shiloh (CG 67) participate in a training scenario onboard Shiloh. EOD and VBSS teams train together to improve shipboard readiness and responsiveness to a variety of situations. Shiloh is attached to Commander, Task Force 70/Carrier Strike Group 5 conducting underway operations in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
