Signaleers of C Co., 898th Brigade Engineer Battalion demonstrated their expertise and effectiveness during Signal Stakes, June 5-19, on Camp Murray, WA. Soldiers competed in teams during a final validating event. Each team tested separately and demonstrated their knowledge on required tasks, including OE-254 broadband omni-directional antenna setup, radio retransmission, tactical satellite communications, high frequency communications, satellite transportable terminal setup, command post node setup, network configuration, and a signal board.
