Coordination and collaboration between performers will deliver novel candidate medical countermeasures (MCMs) to the warfighter faster and potentially save lives. DTRA-JSTO research performed at Alchem Laboratories Corporation is using ultra-HTS to screen 370,000 compounds in the National Institutes of Health Molecular Libraries Small Molecule Repository library for several receptors that can be targeted by MCMs to protect against nerve agent poisoning.
