Capt. Alicia Dorsett, a logistics officer with the Oak Creek, Wis.-based Headquarters Battery, 1st Battalion, 121st Field Artillery, received the Wisconsin National Guard's 1st Lt. Thomas E. Wortham IV Award during a ceremony at the historic Richards Street Armory in Milwaukee June 28. The award is presented annually to a Wisconsin National Guard Soldier or Airman who demonstrates outstanding commitment to the community and the military in honor of the late 1st Lt. Thomas E. Wortham IV, an officer in the Wisconsin Army National Guard and member of the Chicago Police Department who was murdered in Chicago shortly after returning from a deployment to Iraq in 2010.
