SCHRIEVER AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Christopher Marler, 50th Security Forces Squadron Protection Level 1 area supervisor, is responsible for managing security forces personnel and incident responses on Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado, within the U.S. Air Force’s and U.S. Space Force’s largest restricted area. He also responds to any alarms or incidents on the installation. The squadron provides physical security, force protection and law enforcement services to safeguard 34 protection level resources and over 7,000 personnel. The work Marler and Defenders from the 50th SFS perform is important to the garrison, USAF and USSF missions because it ensures safety and security of the personnel and resources that secure overall mission success.
