NORFOLK, Va. (July 15, 2021) – Gen. Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Vice Adm. Andrew Lewis, Commander, Joint Force Command (JFC) Norfolk, shake hands during the ceremony to declare JFC Norfolk’s Full Operational Capability aboard amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) on July 15. JFC Norfolk stands as an operational embodiment of the Trans-Atlantic Bridge.
