Colonel William Bentley, commanding officer of Marine Corps Base Quantico, learns how to operate a drone at the Virginia Smart Community Testbed ribbon cutting on May 25 in Stafford, Va. The testbed is a key element of the Smart Communities initiatives developed by the Center for Innovative Technologies (CIT).
