Air Force Master Sgt. Lowell Coxie, 18th Weather Squadron, Detachment 1, Wheeler-Sack Army Airfield, Fort Drum, N.Y., congratulates Army Staff Sgt. Ryan Kay following his promotion ceremony at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, Calif. Detachment 1 is a 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) asset deployed to the NTC with the Division Tactical Command Post in support of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (LI). The exercise is designed to simulate the deployment environment in an effort to prepare Soldiers of the 10th Mountain Division (LI) for operations in Afghanistan.
