Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA (August 10, 2020) Saam Ostovari, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific engineer, performs field repairs on a small camera drone used for data collection as part of the Offensive Swarm-Enabled Tactics (OFFSET) Program. Through OFFSET, NIWC Pacific is partnering with Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to develop software, physical autonomous systems integration, and test and evaluation support for autonomous swarming tactics.
