U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Mike Ogle with the Marine Corps Rifle Team congratulates members of the opposing teams at the 2021 National Matches, Camp Perry, Port Clinton, Ohio, Aug. 6, 2021. Participants competed with six-man-teams where each shooter fired a timed 100-point aggregate using national match M-16 A4 service rifles from the 200, 300 and 600 yard lines in the sitting and standing positions. The National Matches, also called the “World Series of Shooting Sports,” have been a tradition on Camp Perry since 1907. More than 4,500 participants compete annually.
