Matthew L. Sannito, deputy to the executive director for Logistics Civil Augmentation Program, met with Col. Mark A. Paget, 401st Army Field Support Brigade commander, Oct. 8 to discuss LOGCAP drawdown of equipment and personnel over the coming months. Also attending the meeting were William H. Rutherford III, 401st deputy to the commander (left) and James E. Allen, deputy program director for LOGCAP Afghanistan (center back). LOGCAP performance contractors from the private sector are used to provide a broad range of logistical and life support services to U.S. and allied forces and Federal Agencies during global combat, contingency, peacekeeping, humanitarian and training operations. LOGCAP personnel supporting Operation Enduring Freedom are under the administrative and operational control of 401st AFSB.
