A color guard from the 3rd Brigade Combat Team “Rakkasans,” 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Task Force 3-101, stand together proudly after the 3rd BCT colors were uncased at the Transfer of Authority ceremony at Forward Operating Base Salerno, Khost province, Afghanistan, Oct. 6, 2012. The Rakkasans assumed authority from the 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, Task-Force Spartan, while in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
