On the second night of joint patrols conducted by American and Polish military law enforcement officers over the weekend, these MPs and “ZWs” (Polish MPs) walk on a trail next to Powidzkie Lake, a popular recreation area in Powidz, Poland, on Aug. 7, 2021. The joint patrols conducted this weekend represent some of the first joint patrols in Powidz since Atlantic Resolve began. The American MPs are assigned to the 116th Military Police Company deployed from Fort Riley, Kansas, in support of Atlantic Resolve. The Polish ZWs are assigned to Military Police Outpost Powidz.
