Replica of a French, Swedish-style 4-pound cannon at the Visitor Center at Monmouth Battlefield State Park, located at Manalapan, N.J., July 7, 2021. During the American Revolutionary War, the French provided the Americans with 153 of the 4-pound guns. The cannons were used at the Battle of Monmouth - the last battle of Philadelphia campaign, June 28, 1778. The Park was dedicated June 28, 1978, the battle’s bicentennial.
