The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers recently completed renovations to a barracks on the Gjorce Petrov Police Compound in North Macedonia’s capital city of Skopje, which will enable more law enforcement professionals from North Macedonia and throughout the region to participate in training and exercises geared toward combating regional narcotic trafficking. The project, funded through the U.S. European Command, was built in close collaboration with the Department of Justice’s International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program team based in the U.S. Embassy in Skopje.
