The Chesapeake Bay Foundation located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, hosted Norfolk District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Commander Col. Brian Hallberg and members of the executive staff to a facility tour and boat trip, which served to explain their mission and the history of both agencies' partnership, at the Brock Environmental Center, Lynnhaven River, Virginia, Sept. 10, 2021. The district and CBF are currently working together on the Lynnhaven River Basin Ecosystem Restoration Project that is serving to restore the Chesapeake Bay to its historic levels of health.
