The United States Air Force Band “The Air Force Strings” perform for Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling Honorary Commanders at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C., Sept. 14, 2021. As part of the United States Air Force Band, the Air Force Strings’ mission is to honor those who have served, inspire American citizens to heightened patriotism and service, and connect with the global community on behalf of the U.S. Air Force and the United States. The Honorary Commander’s program allows JBAB to establish and maintain personal contact with local civic leaders in order to increase public awareness of the missions, policies, and programs of JBAB and the United States Air Force.
