210908-N-ML137-1014 KEKAHA, Hawaii (Sept. 8, 2021) — Total-force Airmen unload an MC-130J Commando II attached to the 353rd Special Operations Group at Kadena Airbase, Japan on the flight line of Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF), Barking Sands. Airmen from the 154th Wing with the Hawaii Air National Guard and 15th Wing assigned to Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam are participating in a forward area and refueling point exercise. The training operation was part of the Agile Combat Employment concept in which forces deploy, operate and disperse from not-normally operated locations. PMRF is the world’s largest instrumented multi-environment range capable of supporting surface, subsurface, air and space operations simultaneously.
