210922-A-RK348-0051 ARABIAN GULF (Sept. 22, 2021) – Naval Aircrewman (Helicopter) 2nd Class Michael Thomas, assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC-26), performs radio checks on an MH60S Seahawk helicopter onboard Naval Support Activity, Bahrain Sept. 22. HSC-26 is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three critical chokepoints to the free flow of global commerce.
