Rock Island Arsenal - Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center completed the first Next Generation Shop, Equipment, Contact and Maintenance Vehicle (NG SECM) Sept. 22 at Rock Island Arsenal, Ill. In a collaboration with Program Executive Office, Combat Support & Combat Service Support's Product Manager, Sets, Kits, Outfits, and Tools; AM General; and RIA-JMTC, manufactured two upgraded product test vehicles in one month. The NG SECM is a service station on wheels underpinned by the Humvee platform, allowing immediate field-level maintenance to battle damaged tracked, wheeled, and ground support equipment.
