Indian Head, Maryland (October 7, 2021) -- U.S. Marines and Sailors attend an award ceremony for Doctor Erick Swartz, Chemical Biological Incident Response Force (CBIRF), who was named Marine Forces Command’s Civilian of the Quarter at Naval Support Facility Indian Head, Md. Dr. Erick Swartz has consistently achieved a high degree of job performance and professionalism of his assigned duties and has proven himself to be a force multiplier on multiple occasions. During the past quarter, his efforts resulted in over 90% Mission Readiness Rate for Critical Mission Equipment, he was the principle designer for CBIRF’s Rear Area Operations Center Common Operating Picture, and he singlehandedly led CBIRF’s participation in the Technology Experimentation & Characterization Field Trials (TECFT).
