    9420 is an aerial view of the aircraft. This 'flying wing' or wing-body aircraft was designed by C.L. Snyder, flown by James Doolittle, and studied here at Langley by Fred Weick. The monoplane was powered by a 37 hp Continental A40 engine, had a wing span of 19 feet, aspect ration of 1 to 132, and a top speed of 97 miles per hour.
