LIMA, Peru (Oct. 13, 2021) Rear Adm. Mario Cacho Pella, Peruvian Navy Health Director and Rear Adm. Sergio Molina Espejo, director, Peruvian Navy Medical Center joined Capt. Franca Jones, commanding officer, Naval Medical Research Unit (NAMRU) 6 during a joint celebration. The celebration commemorated the Battle of Angamos Day, a famous Peruvian naval battle that occurred on Oct. 8, 1879 and the U.S. Navy's 246th birthday.
