The U.S. Air Force previously announced its intent to replace its prior trainer jet, the T-38C Talon, with the T-7A. Ejection system testing of the T-7A is expected to continue at the HHSTT through early next year, and the first flight-ready T-7A is set to be delivered in 2023.
