For this week’s #MeetTeamBuckley, we’d like to feature Airman 1st Class Anthony Anaya, an infrared source analyst from the 566th Intelligence Squadron.
As an infrared source analyst, Anaya is specialized in regional conflict monitoring and interpretation of non-literal persistent infrared data in support of the global missile warning mission. He has been at Buckley for almost one year and enjoys the constant change in day-to-day activities and projects that his job has to offer.
Anaya was born in California, but grew up in Cache, Oklahoma. In his free time, he enjoys being handy, going for drives in the mountains, helping others with life choices and coaching his son’s soccer team.
Anaya’s goals are to PCS overseas, hike a 14er, make Senior Airman Below-the-Zone, finish his Community College of the Air Force degree, add another little one to his family, and commission one day.
