U.S. Army Soldiers, C Company, 1-102nd Infantry Regiment (Mountain), Task Force Iron Gray, Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA), and Kenyan Defence Forces Rangers take turns learning to operate each other’s weapons systems outside Camp Simba in Manda Bay, Kenya, Oct. 29, 2021. The training sets the framework to allow for more integrated operations in Kenya. The Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa continually builds partnerships throughout East Africa that help deter the expansion of violent extremist organizations.
